Arab African International Bank / UNDP building – Rehabilitation (BCD – SOLIDERE)
The building stone cornices were collapsing on the streets resulting in a highly critical danger to pedestrians and expats in the area. ASECO’s primary task was to remove the stone cladding and properly re-install new cornices with a proper fixation technique while preserving the safety of all pedestrians and without interrupting the activities of the bank and the UNDP offices in this 15 floors building. The works also comprised of full maintenance and renovation of the façades, the bank entrance and the basement car park and included the installation of 60m of a steel + aluminum screening structure on the periphery of the roof.
